Blending Carolina Herrera’s Iconic Elegance with Charity
In 2017, I collaborated with the CH Carolina Herrera design team on a project for Project Paz, a non-profit I co-founded in 2010 in NYC. Project Paz supports education and housing for disadvantaged families in the US and Mexico. We’ve provided 3,500 children with after-school programs and built 78 homes for families impacted by earthquakes.
The CH Carolina Herrera Collaboration
Our mission with the fashion brand was to co-brand a limited edition Leather Triple Wrap Bracelet, integrating the charity’s identity with Carolina Herrera’s elegance. The navy leather bracelet was created as a fundraising product and resonated deeply with CH customers across the United States. Mrs. Herrera herself called her Madison Avenue store to reserve two units before the launch event. Her attendance highlighted the successful fusion of high fashion with a noble cause, raising awareness and support for Project Paz’s initiatives.
My Role
As the Creative Director working with the CH product team, my responsibilities included integrating Project Paz’s brand logo and colors into the bracelet design. A key element of the design was creatively incorporating the brand's heart-shaped bird icon as the word “love” in the message:
Carolina Herrera ♡ Project Paz ♡ Mexico
This collaboration aimed to produce a stylish, meaningful accessory that appealed to CH’s clientele while promoting Project Paz. It perfectly blended fashion and philanthropy, demonstrating the power of design to make a positive impact.
